Hi! I’m Carl, a qualified and experienced BIM Engineer living in Tauranga, New Zealand.

I started out my engineering career working in processing plants as a Maintenance + Diagnostics Engineer and Reliability Engineer, before moving into the construction design sector.

I have been working in Revit and utilizing BIM since 2018. I have worked on projects that cover a wide range in size and scope (including laundromats and retail, mixed use developments, high density residential, processing plants, education, healthcare, and underground train stations.) I have an extensive understanding of Revit modelling and collaboration, and experience in designing mechanical and hydraulic systems to satisfy requirements for G4, G12, G13, and H1 NZBC clauses.

I am motivated to find the most efficient and effective way to get to the best result for the project, and can help provide a blueprint for BIM to ensure your team gets the most of out of its use. I’m equally comfortable guiding projects as a lead, or supplementing your existing team.

My qualifications include Trade Certification, a National Diploma (NDE) in Mechanical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering. I am a member of Engineering New Zealand.
